What's the correct way to correct an imbalance in quad strength? Right now I'm doing weights that focus on the quads that I can isolate between the left and right but I'm sticking with the same weight for both sides. In theory, I'm thinking this would just make the right quads stronger while my weaker quads get stronger but still lag behind the other side. Should I pick a stronger weight for the weakers quads, do more sets (or reps), or just don't work on the stronger quads? My physical therapist pointed this out to me during a session but didn't really appear to offer good advice on how to correct this problem.
thanks.
