sub 2:10 aint happening unless you just started running a few months ago

I don't think so. My PR last year was 2:19, and at the time trials then I ran like a 2:35. My teammates that ran 2:13, and 2:10 last year ran a 2:19 and 2:18 at the trials, respectively.

Sub 2:10 will be hard. If you went out in 63 and ran a 77 sec second lap, you basically died even if you weren't "very tired." To go sub 2:10, a 63 first lap is almost the minimum. I think you could probably run a 2:16 if you paced your race a bit better. At the end of the season you will probably run around 2:12 unless you make a lot of progress.

You were correct! I ran 2:13 today, and without spikes. I want to get to 2:10 tomorrow :)
