Ok so I used to run on my college team, but eventually quit due to massive time constraints and just many other obligations. Also, I kind of felt like my heart just wasn't in it anymore. So, for about a year, I just ran at my own pace, not on the team or anything, and that was fine. But then recently, about 2 months ago, I suddenly just had no desire to run anymore. I don't know if it's temporary or what. I had been sort of mounting a "comeback" of sorts, with the idea of possibly competing unattached a few times just for kicks, but it's when this attitude entered my mind that shortly thereafter I sort of "burned out".
I do enjoy lifting now more than I used to, and it's nice to see results. Basically I have just been lifting and maybe running once a week for 30-40 minutes.
Anyone else experience a feeling like this? I used to be the most gung ho runner, and now I just have no motivation/desire to keep with it.........
