I wish I had seen the comments. To save people time below I've pasted her response to apparently some mean comments. I have no problem with what she did although I think the selfies are a bit vain and bragging about "crashing" a race is lame. We really should report this thread for deletion since it is helping to bring her the attention she apparently seeks.

Good point about deleting this thread (even though I started it) so she does not get more attention. But I did love this parody that has already popped up.

Glad to see so many people chastising her actions in the comments section.

The tongue and teeth smile in about half the selfies is almost as bad as banditing the race and blogging about it. It is kind of like that person at work who tells lame jokes and stories, but tries to make up for it by laughing at themselves loudly. The tongue and teeth smile is like saying out loud "I am such a crazy person!!!".

The GA Marathon is waaaaay overpriced. Groups like US Road Sports and Competitor are ruining road racing. I don't blame her for making a mockery of this race.
