I'm a 800 type going down to 400 m this year trying to run sub 48, pr 49.22. What do you think os this plan? What is wrong/good etc.
Mon, endurance running, 15-45' run or tempo ex 10-15' warm up and 15-20' easy tempo or just total easy run + drills/jumps + strides ex 3x100 easy
Tue, speed endurance, ex 100/150/200/150/100 + easy strides ex 3x100
Wed, endurance running, 15-45' run or tempo ex 10-15' warm up and 15-20' easy tempo or just total easy run + drills/jumps + strides ex 3x100 easy
Thu, session with lots of jumps
Fri, active rest, 15' easy bike
Sat, tempo endurance + power speed, ex 50/100/150/200/250/300/350 walk back rest and power speed (hill sprints/jumps x15)
Sun, alternating between speed endurance and maximum velocity ex 100/120/100/80/100/120/100 or 3x3x60-90 flyes and with block starts 3-4x3x30-50 m
