So by the end of the season I'm hoping to break 5:00 in the 1600.
We're still in preseason and I have ran three races.
Here are my times for those meets:
Meet 1: 1600- 5:28 3200-11:55 (felt like crap in the 1600 and took out first lap in 66 and felt really good in the 3200 and felt like I could've pushed it more)
Meet 2 (two days later): 1600- 5:20 (took it out much more slower and paced myself)
Meet 3: 1600- 5:13 (pushed it hard. I hit 73, 78, 80, 83) yes those are horrible splits lol.
Workouts I've been doing for example are 8-10x 400, 10x200, tempos, 10x100m hill repeats. I'm not a very smart racer but I've been trying.
What are the chances of getting sub-5??
PRS:
1600- 5:13
3200- 11:54 (feel like I could break that easily right now)
5k- 18:21
