She's just a freshmen so she still has time to learn how to win a race at a championship setting.
That was stupid, especially at altitude
Pic's of those nuts?
How many?
And a lower race IQ. Dumb at altitude for sure. At least she thrilled the morons that don't understand racing. Good for her!
No, she's not. She just made a dumb move
How did that work out for her?
Really JV move at that level, accomplished nothing except ruining her chances of scoring and All American
The only thing she has is a serious lack of race savvy. She is so stubborn about using these front running tactics. She needs to work on developing a kick and just learn to be patient.
She bombed and ran incredibly dumb. Just like Pre did in the Olympics when he missed out on a medal. Just because someone goes to the front and pushes the pace doesn't make them awesome. If they can't handle the pace, it makes them incompetent.

I disagree. Not everyone likes a sit and kick race. Is Finn even known for having a strong kick compared to who she was going up against?
Coach McGuire let her. D!psh!ts. Was it the right coaching call? Well, maybe not...it was a gamble. But he gave her the green light. D!psh!ts. Every last one of you.
The freaking pace was so slow someone had to do something and the pack let her go and before you knew it she had a lap lead. Oh well
Never lead a race until you can hold that position to the finish line. That doesn't mean you have to sit and kick.

You could go with 800 to go. You could go with a mile to go. There are many options you have to use your strength over the other runners. Most of the time, the better runner is going to win regardless of tactics, but the right surprise can make a difference.
