5k: 19:16 (endurance sucks)
I had been injured for the last 5 months and a lot during track season 2013, put on a lot of weight (5ft 10, 188lbs), back running 5/6 days easy and weight is starting to come off (probably get to around 175lbs in a month). Are my too old/ not talented enough to break 2mins? I train 5/6 times a week, work full time and wondering am I a hopeless case?
Probably not relevant but I was ok underage before I quit for many years.
200m 23.6 - 15 years old
400m 50.8 - 15 years old
800m 2.04 - 16 years old (felt I should have gone well under 2mins but never actually did)
Mile 4.32 - 16 years old
