What do you think are some of the main reasons why elite's don't publish their training regularly or at all?

So that the competition doesn't steal their training techniques. Is this really that hard to figure out? They don't want to get beaten.
orly?
Who knows. People like to act like they've got some secret recipe, but it's all more or less the same stuff. The importance of coaching is reading your athletes and choosing the correct workout for them, not your super duper unique training methods.

This would imply that most elites actually win races.
They don't want to hurt the athletes who would attempt the training without proper pharmaceutical support.

Choosing the correct workout is part of the training method genius.
It's pretty easy to find the training elites do.
To simplify, just go out and run 10 miles twice a day with a 20 miler on one day. One of the 10 mile runs will be speedwork of some type and another will be a tempo.

That's just an opinion.
What about, cryosaunas, altitude tents, TUEs, and "the gray zone"?

No, it's not.

The workout is specific to the athlete. Being secretive about that is like being secretive about your bespoke suit -- it ain't gonna fit anyone else. Unless your training points to PED use, then I guess keeping quiet would make sense.

Do you think you have the physical ability to use an elite athlete's training? Why?

Not to point out the obvious, but...
Specific individualized training includes identifying strengths and addressing weaknesses. Yes, looking at past races can certainly tell you a lot about what strengths/weaknesses an athlete HAS had, but that doesn't mean they haven't been working on fixing that in the interim - if your training is taking into account working on your strengths/weaknesses, then you might not want to advertise that fact (and not hint at how far you've come in addressing said weakness or further emphasizing said strength) before you line up to race.
Plenty of elites share their training. They know there's no magic formula or secret workout. They're not helping their competition by sharing your training log. That's ridiculous.
It's because they know that Joe runner expects an elite to always run hard and fast killer workouts and never struggle. If an elite shows the nobodies that reality is quite different he or she would only get idiot comments and negative feedback.
They don't want people to know that they are trying to get paid a decent annual salary while only working 20-25hrs a week.

Because they dont want people doing 60 mpw + when they can barely jog for 15 miles per week. Cuz most runners don't run 18 min 5ks or are strict about how much mileage they do like some of us here

The workout is not specific to the athlete. Everyone is pretty much doing the same workouts. It's how you apply and organize the workouts that makes the difference.
