Someone would have brushed her shoulder and she would have closed in a 39.

LOL, nice trolling.
Dibaba split the last 1.25 miles in a pace 4 seconds faster than Hasay's mile PR!!! So Jamal effectively ran Hasay's mile PR pace for the last 1.25 miles. Yeah sure Hasay would have totally gotten the bronze.
The important thing is that the bully got buried back in 10th.
Salazar and Nike should protest. Bronze will always be available to hasay even if she doesnt run
Rowbury didn't medal and Rowbury is > Hasay.
I too thought that was appropriate - 10th place for the bulldozer.

Watch Grunewald spaz out and swing into lane 3 around one person in lane 1 on the final sprint for home. This girl is a mentally challenged runner. Or maybe she was just playing it extra extra safe so there was no contact?
Certainly weird for GG to be running in lane 3 for no reason. I'm guessing she aimed for lane 2 but just went flying off line.
Hasay has beaten Rowbury in every race this season, until Grunewald ran her down. Hasay probably would have finished sixth or seventh in reality.
You Hasay fan boys are turning her more into of a joke every day.
Hasay is the best person yet to live. I can't believe that she hasn't been made a saint yet.

Good point.
This increases the NOP medal count to 1*.

That was so weird. She seems to have no coordination at all.
Grunewald has to be taking some kind of a drug to make her run that way. Come on. Her failing to run well in the semi (barely made the time) and running miserably in the final goes to show you that perhaps the USATF had it correct all along with the infamous DQ? Hasay should have gone.

I don't think that's how "trials" work.
So for every trials race from now on - if a favorite has a bad day (steve Holman in the past), then just let them through? Regardless of anything else that went on - but the Hasay fanboys are getting a bit tiresome with their PERSONAL attacks against Gab - GG made the team legitimately, but really wasn't prepared for that kind of race. This is what can happen when trials races are little more than jogfests, the best people don't always get through.
As long as USATF goes with the system of top 2-3 in trials race goes regardless of pedigree, these things will happen - and that won't change anytime soon. Rowbury should have been on the 1500m team last year, but didn't race well at trials (again a jogfest).
It really doesn't matter anyway, except here in the USA. The east Africans are unbelievable runners.

She even swung back into lane 2 by the finish. Maybe she's running under the influence.
There's something very strange about that USA champ DQ the USATF is not telling us about. Weird.

I don't know. Maybe she's coming off of some drug? Thus, her performance decrease?
