I really believe in being cautious, especially with young, high potential athletes, but this seems a little over-cautious. If she wasn't close to medalling, then ok, but she has a chance to medal at world championships...so she will sit out of world champs so she can...chase PRs in the early outdoor season?

As a fan I have also thought outdoor was the real deal and indoor was 2nd tier.

She has PR'd in the 1000, 1500, and mile this season and has now become the face of American woman's distance running. Why is it that people need to find the need to try and hate any good American runner that doesn't act like Pre. Salazar is the best thing to ever happen to American distance running, and has turned it around.
