Salazar needs different drugs
I don't care man, if you yell at a guy like Lomong, you need your head examined. The dude carried the flag for the US at the Olympics and he's a classy - if somewhat raw - competitor on the track.
Salazar is an angry little bully and his conduct this weekend was disgusting. The guy definitely runs on pure hate. Creep.
Lomong, Schumacher and Justin Grunewald should file for a restraining order against Salazar. That would be entertaining if Salazar had to stay 500 yards away from the track at all times.
Track and Field now resembles the old Wrestling of the WWF (WWE for the youts out there). The Managers were the guys that hung around the ring, supplied soap to put in competitors eys, sharp objects to cut them etc. They also held the competitors with the ref not seeing it and then screamed at the TV hosts about just about everything. Al Sal would be better served leaving the arena during the competitions and avoiding becoming the joke he is on his way to becoming. His coaching was done before the athletes toed the line.

Agree. I have never been a fan of naturalized US athletes (Lagat, Lomong, etc.) but I now have new respect for Lomong in particular. If he'd only cold-cocked Salazar I'd be completely on the bandwagon.
Lomong just didn't understand how to make the event Rupp-Certified.
He needs to learn that.
It's unfortunate, but Salazar does more to hurt Rupp on Letsrun than Rupp does to himself. Salazar consistently give the haters more ammo.
Cool, now everyone is ripping Rupp because of Salazar's reprehensible behavior. Should we also expect a statement from Rupp "any moment now?"

Unlike Rupp, Lomong does have a college degree in Business. Rupp does not have a college degree (business/marketing major).

Salazar better be careful. Two of his charges are young women, Cain and Hasay, and while they seem to be remarkably mature and talented young women, they are both at the age where input from parents still matters. I would be concerned about trusting my kid's livelihood to a guy without proper perspective, examples of which seem to abound in a single weekend. Screaming at another athlete after a tough race for no apparent reason is behavior that if off the rails.
