the workout is
3x400m
3x200m
3x400m
TWICE. the rests are 2 min inbetween each interval and a 7 min rest inbetween the two sets. all in all this equals 6,000m in speedwork. my goal times are 34-35 for the 200's and 1:13-1:15 for the 400's

that is to say ... not effective. that's a miler's workout maybe. although i'd expect a 2:02 800 guy to have faster mile pace than 75s/400
what would you reccomend?

Do 1 set of this, but do this:
3x400 @68 w/ 1:30 rest
5:00 set rest
3x200 @ 29-30 w/ 1:00 rest
5:00 set rest
3x400 @68, 67, 66 w/ 2:30 rest
That would be more effective.
as in, what single workout is the magic workout that will make you run 2:02?
Yes, only do one set.
If you are shooting for 2:02 then those last two 400s should be @ 59
That would be more effective.
What is your current time?
Just doing 4x400 with 5 minutes rest is much more specific.

Which would be way too much (8x race distance!) if it really were speedwork. But 34's and 73's? Come on. If you're anywhere near sub-2 shape, that's not speed.
Yeah the 400's could be a lot faster if you wanted to make it more 800-specific. As of now this looks to be slower than mile pace with a lot more rest. If it were "speedwork," 6000m would be an insane amount of volume.
