I know he's trying to show the fact that he doesn't have a sponsor. But a T-shirt? Rather than a singlet? Wouldn't you want a lighter singlet for running? Really?
I think he should have worn a USA singlet. Remind people that he's a 2-time Olympian and 6-time USA outdoor team member.

not only did he wear a Tshirt, he did all the work for the first 1200, and still finished in 5th, only 1 second behind the winner. Seriously, great run for him.
It was red. Possibly a crew neck.

I was impressed too. He pushed the pace for 1200 and fell off when it turned into a kicker's race. But despite all that, he didn't fall off by much, and was still only a few paces off the win. Once he develops his late race kick again, he'll be back to his old self.

He is coming around
perhaps he forgot his singlet, I forgot my singlet for an indoor meet once. I was embarassed, but I did just as well in a tshirt as I would have in a singlet.
Maybe he's trying to be a trendsetter instead of just being a pacesetter.

Probably depends...was it 100% cotton? Poly cotton blend? Or some sort of technical fabric?
Maybe it was too cold in there for Leo to wear s singlet.
At least he didn't forget his Nike spikes and Nike shorts! Can't tell, but those may be Nike sideburns as well.
I'm pretty sure that's a nike pro combat shirt, judging by the seams around the shoulders and neckline. Could be wrong, but I think I've seen photos of him doing workouts in those before.
The shirt is from their training line rather than running. If he feels comfortable with it, and has the option, more power to him.
