Have you heard this? I thought it was kind of cool. Some good harmonies on there.

Not bad choices (though I can't stand REO Speedwagon).
Would have to add a LOT of songs by the following bands for this category:
Queen
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young
Beach Boys

Well, you taste in music is...consistent.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nSKkwzwdW4A lot of old Green Day songs from Kerplunk, Dookie, etc.
Boston- Peace of Mind
Brad Delp, yo.
Bee Gees "Too much heaven"
Squeeze pretty much made a career out of it.
"Suite: Judy Blue Eyes"
It's from the debut CSN album (sorry flagpole they are better w/o Neil although I am a Neil fan). The band was formed just to do the harmony on this song.
Knoxville Girl by the Louvin Brothers
Wake up Little Susie, by the Everly Brothers.
always liked this one

Yes - I am not even a big fan of CSN.
Eagles have to be in the mix as well. Seven Bridges Road.
A few bands to add:
Weezer (Earlier stuff)
The Milk Carton Kids
Peter, Paul, & Mary
Cloudburst no contest
Almost anything by Simon and Garfunkle, or by the Everly Bros. who they based some of their style on.
Also, the Four Tops, with "Reach Out and I'll Be There" being one of the best.
Young Americans, David Bowie. See the film "20 ft from Stardom", which explains the role of backup singers in that song, using an amazing tv performance by Bowie to illustrate the point.
I would add Bon Iver as an example of music made within the last 20 years.
this is kinda ethereal (1:40 onwards)
Extreme - More Than Words
Brings out the teenage girl in me every time.
Lorde's music is pretty notable for the vocal harmonies, especially Royals.
Imogen Heap also comes to mind. But there is a lot of electronica at work.
