Its hard to choose. I would say its a toss up.

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I love watching marathons on TV. Maybe it's because I don't get to see them very often? I can easily sit for 2-2.5 hours and watch the race unfold.
Should read "which is most boring."

Add in a conversation with you, and I am choosing that option.
Is there someone making you do any of these things?

I'd rather you pour honey on my nuts and make me sit in a pile of red ants than have to watch a marathon. A bunch of skinny white people chasing behind some Africans for a couple of hours. Same ending every time, African beats white man.
lol. Yes, the ending is usually the same, but I still enjoy the races, nonetheless.
Paint, dude. Paint. Even the act of painting is boring.

You make a good point. That USA / Russia OT hockey game was soooooooo boring.
I like watching a marathon if the coverage is good.
However, I agree that the Winter Olympics sucks. I'd rather watch paint dry, because that would only waste an hour or two, whereas the Winter Olympics drags on almost literally forever.
Take an event like the skeleton. You watch one person at a time go down the chute. Every athlete looks exactly the same. Every run could have been a replay of the previous one, and you'd never know it. All you do is watch the little timer thing and see if maybe this athlete is a few quadrillionths of a second faster than the previous one. Give me drying paint any day.
You're not in the minority. When they used to show NYC and Chicago on major networks they got excellent ratings.
The problem was they're very expensive and tough to cover.
You have two races (men and women) plus the lead pack, following packs. If the rabbit took off, who do you follow?
I love the winter olympics- most of the sports are enjoyable.
I could do without some of the snow boarding and mogul skiing. But I love that board XC stuff.
I'd have to add two more things to your list: #1 and the absolute worst sport --- soccer and #2 ice hockey.
Why are you on this website?

LMAO!!! That sounds like it would be rather painful.
The 80s called. They want their freestyle aerials back.
So boring. No originality. Trampoline is better.
Time to yank some Olympic events. Get rid of Aerials, half-pipe, double luge.
Bring back "speed skiing",-- demonstration sport in Nagano.
Bring back figure skating "ordinals" too. Let's see those figure eights!
not ordinals. Compulsory figures.
Winter Olys are garbage compared to the Summer games. The only winter events I enjoy watching are hockey and xc skiing.
I'd watch the downhill if all the competitors went together, and they included a slalom section in the middle.

This. I'm finding it very difficult to stay interested in almost every event I watch.
If they brought back Winter Olympic Cross Country racing, then maybe I would watch. How about Winter Olympic Indoor Track and Field? That would work too. Some of these events are disgusting. Where is the running!!!!!! Where are the real athletes besides Lolo Jones?
