I enjoyed him, late night coverage last night he did a shot of vodka after a story on it and said his eyes couldn't get any redder so why not.
They need to promote that blonde brit who does the early morning coverage instead of Lauer.

Costas takes a lot of crap but I've watched every second of the coverage and he does a fine job. It's not his fault that the coverage isn't ideal, he just talks to the people the producers want him to talk to.
But he does have poo in his eye unfortunately.

I like costas - the guy is a loose cannon. so much more real than the huah US announcers. and actually unpredictable, which is stunningly great among the gloss of the others.
I am seriously loving the online coverage of individual events - british announcers, showing an event from beginning to end - it's brilliant.
Costas is fine when he sticks with sports. His problem is when he gets off topic starts talking politics or controversial social issues outside of sports. People don't appreciate being 'preached' to.
I don't wish any ill will, of course, but I'm happy he's gone. I don't like his presentation of the Games. I've never liked him.
