Hello! I am entering my spring season at the beginning of March with the idea of breaking 2 minutes in the 800 meters. I am in tenth grade and I ran a 2:44 1000m in spring. If I had another race I think I could have ran it faster by one or two seconds. This regret of a race just makes me want to go sub 2 even more. Recently it has been all I can think about with winter track now over. I will start training for spring in two or three days and from there on I think I will be unstoppable if I put my mind to it. Do you guys think it will be a doable goal? I know that it is a stretch but recently I have felt like nothing can stop me. Also any advice is welcome!
