I ran a 2:05 flat 800m about a week ago, I felt like I could've gone about 2s faster since I was boxed in the entire time. I split 62-63, I am more of a distance oriented guy but I am trying to get my 800 time down to help with my mile speed. Is 1:58 a realistic goal to shoot for by the end of the outdoor season? And if not what is more reasonable. A recent workout I did was a 10x200 @ 29 with 1min rest if that helps at all.
