I'm a junior in hs and i ran well at a course where its flat as a track, PRing by a lot placing 12th or so, but when i start running on a hilly SOFT course i suck and place in the back 20s with practically the same crowd. My summer training was 50+ miles a week and i feel like i can go run 15 miles at a quick pace no problem even when i go up hills. It seems like when i start to race i stitch up and can't 'go' when i need to... is there is any kind strength training i could do or a hill workout you recomend?
