OP - just wait a week and Flotrack will lift the restriction. That's what they always do on these high profile videos.

Keep checking youtube. Someone will put it up there, but be quick, as the Flo will have it removed.

For the good of the sport of track and field, meet directors shoud mandate on cameraman credentials that videos of races are free and have no copyright (are public domain).

itll be watchable for free on flotrack in like 2-3 days. idk what the policy is but it seems like all the live flotrack pro coverage is released for free like 4+ days after the meet. you can watch Galen's 2 mile WR now on flotrack, but it was "locked" as a pro video for like the first 3 days after the race.

To Boomer Simpson, I can assure you as a 60 year old coach I am far removed from this entitlement generation logo you are placing on me. I have the same issue with their being locks on Olympic videos. You can't go back legally and find full race videos of Bekele running his last 2k in under 5 minutes and that is a shame. Its robbing the youth an opportunity to see what is out there and what can happen when you have a dream and work ethic. Like I said I fully support the pay per view coverage they offer (I wish they would offer a chance to just pay per meet at a cheaper price) because this is a business. But there is more money to be made off of free viewership of these races off of advertising then having it locked to the select thousand or so people that are FLOPRO members (aka youtube).

How do you know there is more money to be made from free viewership than from direct payment? And you think you know better than the executives heading these companies? Yeah right.

You are prime example of why advertising to track and field audiences is a poor way to make money. You claim to be a big fan, but you refuse to spend a few minutes to make $20 bucks to enjoy the sport you claim to like. What company would pay lots of money to such a poor and entitled audience? If you refuse to make $20 for flotrack, why would companies think you would spend $20 on their products?
