I will give my own theory. Cashews are rich in trace minerals that most people hardly get in the modern diet. All power packed in one. phosphorous, zinc, magnesium, copper and not in supplement form, but the form nature intended.

I absolutely hate when someone has one of those bulk Planter's containers of cashews. There is a sea salt one that has just the right amount of salt. I will literally sit there and just eat till my stomach cramps.. then keep eating between moans. F*cking delicious.
I literally just finished of an entire bag of California Cheddar Kettle Chips...how will I feel in 30 minutes?
you need 5oz to get your 400mg of magnesium, which is better than most food but still pretty expensive
the form nature intended is the elemental form you find in well water or unpurified tap water, easiest to absorb. Dropping a mag oxide tablet in water is best, other than expensive mineral water.
Cashews are perfect...there is a reason I keep almonds at my desk and not cashews. I want the jar to last longer than one day!
Cashews suck IMHO. I'd eat almonds & pistachios for weeks before hitting the cashews.
It's because you love the nuts.
Dope.
Highest carb content of any nut- perfect blend of fat and sweetness.
fat/salt/carbs. Doubt you can taste the trace elements at all, but I've heard that you sometimes get cravings for foods because you're low on some specific nutrient.
First of all, why would this NOT be a serious question? As if there are so many trolling threads about cashews!
Second, if you're really that serious about it, take the time to f*cking spell out "serious" instead of abbreviating it!
fat
it has more to do with the salt/fat content and the award center in your brain.
it has many good fats though
+1, cashews suck. They taste good for like a handful, but are too rich to eat a bunch. Pistachios are way, way, way better. Sadly, they are really expensive.
They're not. I just emptied my can of those salty delights about an hour ago, and I'm not feeling any withdrawal symptoms. I could quit anytime I wanted to.
