go run 2-3 miles at an even pace 4-5 times a week

build from there

you look like you might be better at longer distance events but idk

idk if you're overweight but if you have extra fat on your stomach, legs etc.

losing weight generally helps a lot to a certain point

^eat less empty calories

lean protein + whole grains + fruits and veggies + more water

lift weights (not too crazy... don't injure yourself)

pushups/ core work

idk how developed you are, but growing generally helps a lot also

it's really hard to tell now if it's possible-

you don't seem to have a lot of talent but some people really absorb training well and improve quickly.

put in the work and you'll find out

also having one or two days a week with short sprints (6-8 seconds), just long enough to reach top speed and slow down would help lots (you can do these on hills)- practice your form during these (hands don't cross middle, head straight forward, relax muscles/don't strain)

^ do 10-12 reps, rest 1-1:30 or until you feel ready to put forth another equally hard effort
