Anybody know anything about Spira Footwear? The springs in the shoes have me intrigued. But is it just a gimmick? Anybody worn them?

In my honest opinion, and I mean this with the utmost respect, the shoes are Crap with a capital C. It's difficult for me to look at them without smirking. They look like something from Wal-Mart. The big box store will probably make a fortune on them but they're not authentic athletic shoes. It's pretty obvious. I'm glad I got through this without cussing.
i actually live in el paso there were founded, home store is near my house, i want to apply for a job of some sorts there get into the shoe thing see whats up(im a college guy) good shoes but need to be a bit more tailored towards the real runner as opposed to the casual runner. great cushioning design is iffy but ill let you know as i get more stuff.
Your writing skills are atrocious! What college do you attend? Better yet, what high school did you attend? Forget about getting a job, you need to learn how to read and write first.
they are not very good.
very stiff and clunky
NOT a technical shoe
Pretty much they suck! Heavy not flexable and they look like a Wal-Mart shoe. I got a pair to sample and i couldn't give them away for anyone to run. i finally gave them to an emergency room doctor. He brought them back 2 days latter and said they sucked.
Anyone remember the Z-Coil? They make these Spira's look like Bowermans. Think running with pogosticks strapped to your legs.

I like the shoes. In my opinion it's the first technology that I have seen that's not a gimmick. I've put over 350 miles on mine and the cushioining is just as good as when I bought them.
I guess all you others out there like to run on cardboard - well have at it!
Haha, guess who the Spira rep is...
Like I said - Have at it!
We used to sell them at a store I was working at a couple of years ago, right when they first came out.
I didn't like them. I thought they looked like they were designed by a 7th grader. They felt bizarre too. I was no fan.
I don't think we sold them to any real "runners", mainly older folks with knee trouble. BUT, they loved them. It was weird.
zzrunzz sorry can tplease you with my stellar typing skills, you f***in moron. anyways there styling is mega iffy you just need to chekc them out yourself
