Women's 1k race is in about 30 minutes.
We just talked to JK. Some may think his conversion charts are too harsh but he stands by them.
He says Jen Toomey's AR of 2:34.19 is equivalent to a 1:58.00 800.
The HS record of 2:43.40 which belongs to Sarah Bowman (now Brown) is equal to about a 2:04.77 according to JK.
Men's 5k is after that.
I heard Alan Webb is running the 5k and gunning for the indoor world record. Webb is back baby!
Currently on the men's 200. About 25 minutes to go before the women's 1K.

Race is coming soon. They are done with the other races. It's supposed to be at 7:25 pm.

can you rewatch the race for free on flotrack after it is done? as they said you could but never actually allowed?

Flotrack should put a copy of the race a day or so after the race to watch for free, yes.
For the low low price of only 19.99 you can watch it live. Or - you can watch teh video for free tomorrow or the next day.

You do get a month's subscription for 20 bucks though and they're streaming several meets which puts the price at 3 or 4 bucks per meet, which isn't that bad at all. You get some extra content too. Just remember to cancel it a month afterwards.

Just a general question. Is the indoor track more or less the same as the track they had in 2005-2007? I ran a few club races there after I graduated and ran for the BAA, just curious if the track is about the same quality as that time period.

Track seems the same from my coaching days at Cornell. Yes.

Alan Webb leaps onto the track butt naked wearing a Jordan Hasay style wig and runs a 400 46.72!!!
Cain's starting in the outside lane. Just got introduced.
