Just wondering I can run a mid 18 5k. According to some formulas I should be able to run a sub 1:30 half marathon. To be honest I dont think I can run a sub 1:30 half, 1:35-1:40 sounds a little more reasonable to me... I've never ran a half marathon for one, and dont think I can hold a sub 7 min mile pace for 13miles..
My question is how do I get stronger for the long haul and hold that sub 7 pace? I usually run 40-50mpw...
Only been running a little over a yr. Ran mostly 5k's but thinkin about jumpin into the half marathon scene.
Any guesses on what my half marathon be? What is a good first half marathon time?
