I find it helps greatly with my training. I always smoke a bowl before solo runs. It really helps with the motivation to get out there. Sometimes when I run out its hard to get myself out the door for my run. I don't think it actually
Makes you run faster, but I do think it can be helpful for motivation. Which is funny cause everyone thinks it makes you lazy. I
Think it makes you procrastinate homework and obligations, but for recreational activities I think it's great.
I have run and won a few races under the influence, and it could be said that it has enhanced my performance. There have been a lot of times where I'm going to Races with the wife, running like crap, then go do a race on my own, get high on the way there and run like a boss. Not sure how it works, maybe it distracts me from the pain of racing? Idk.
