Deservedly so. Clearly hes an out of control drunk and bully, and its scarey that he has access to weapons and a badge. We don't know how many poor people he has harassed and threatened while in uniform.
While I think he is an amazing runner, I have no tolerance for this sort of power trip over the weak.

Why do you say "clearly"? It seems to me that Kiprop might be an out of control drunk and bully, but all we have is one article presenting one side of the coin. Who knows how correct this version of events is?
If he has a past history of which I'm not aware that changes things, but to read one piece and declare Kiprop is a scumbag seems pretty hasty to me.
I suggest you read the article again.
Seriosuly Kiprop looks like he would be beat up but a stiff breeze let alone inflict pain on someone else.
