Chris Derrick tweeted he'd be there. Maybe some other Schumacher guys.

If chris derrick is allowed to run that is complete BS, he was not at the qualifier and he does not deserve the chance to run the team event. Now if he is doing the individual event that's ok.

If he accepts a spot on a team he didn't earn a spot on, he is slapping all his countrymen in the face who actually tried to qualify.

Actually glad to see Gray going. He earned it, at least one guy we know of earned his spot on the team. Anyone know if Vaughn and Medina are going? If so, USA has a strong team. Predicting they beat the GB team.

USATF has to post these rosters soon don't they?

Ok so we are now 9 days till this event and nothing from USATF

I know people who have tried to contact USATF and no reply (very typical)

You fail a basic comprehension tests. There is not one single qualifying method. Derrick has earned a spot based on qualifying criteria just as much as Gray has.

Any word yet as to who's on the team?

Wonder why Quigley and Vaughn decided not to go? It's strange that Medina is in over them. Laura Thweatt not going is strange as we'll.

yes that is interesting. well now i wonder who's going to NACAC. guess we will have to wait another 6 weeks for that though.

Part of the nacac team is picked at nationals in Feb do yes we will need to wait to see who is on the team.

The following procedures will be used to select senior athletes:

Athletes who meet the eligibility requirements will select themselves onto Team USA for the NACAC Cross Country Championships via descending order of finish in the relevant event at the 2013 USATF National Club Cross Country Championships (hereafter known as the "selection event").

Athletes must commit to a spot on Team USA no later than December 16, or they will forfeit their place on that squad.

If an athlete declines a spot on Team USA (or fails to commit as per #2 above), that spot will be offered to the next finisher in the relevant race at the selection event until the team is filled.

Team Size: Team USA will field squad consisting of five (5) athletes per race as long as all team members finish in the top 25 at the selection event.
