From my perspective it makes zero sense to put my career ahead of a woman. I am time-poor due to a huge workload and tons of responsibilities. I am passionate about medicine and it's how I will provided for my family.

I like to believe there are women out there who understand the sacrifice needed to become a physician. Medical school is really time-consuming (I work ~ 80 hours a week, occasionally getting weekends off).

The 'making time for her' probably wasn't it. Very few women dump a man because he's working too hard/too ambitious, etc. Making your girlfriend the center of your life is much more likely to chase her out of it. People want a partner they can be proud of, who has something going for them.

It is important to neither over or under prioritize your significant other. Striking the delicate balance is critical for nurturing a healthy relationship. Too much space leads to rifts in the relationship while too little space is stifling. You must maintain your independence while engendering interdependence.

I don't expect many here to understand or master these skills.

Depends who is doing the supposing. You are free to go by your own supposition in this matter.

You must not have had a true girlfriend. I am a girlfriend and have been for a while. It is very important to be your boys first priority if not then she will think that you don't care. So I suggest you to take this " depends on how hot the gf is" motto you got and make a new one cause you will not get anywhere with it. EVERYONE is beautiful in their own ways. This. Take advantage of your opportunity. (Play the gold diggers for sex, those hoes deserve to be toyed with). Just make sure your pull out game is strong cuz she gonna keep that baby if it's from a star like yourself. Gotta make sure you have a good mother for your kid one day.

Not really, no. If so, they are doing it for the wrong reasons, likely cheating on you too.

Get a tinder account and do the casual dating thing. After that, the work takes up so many hours I don't see how it works out well for you and a normal woman. So, stay on tinder.

If she left because you were spending your little free time from academics on something other than her, she was right to dump you. If she left because she was jealous of the time you have to invest in academics, she wasn't a prospective long term mate anyway so good riddance.
