When I started taking my running more seriously I also improved my diet, but since I'm a super obsessive person I basically started eating like a robot, with planned meal times and planned meals and certain foods I had to eat at certain times and so on.
I'm trying to find a balance now, but I'm not sure what's typical and how to go about it. How much should I let myself indulge? How do I make sure I get enough of what I need without planning for it? I know what foods are good for me and whatnot, the problem isn't that, it's about how much flexibility I'm supposed to give myself. I can't track anything or I get too obsessive.
And yeah I know my attitude from the second paragraph isn't healthy but I'm really putting in 100% effort to try to work on this so work with me here.
