I'm a HS sophomore who is in need of training advice. I recently ran a 5:21 road mile off really crappy training. I have an indoor 3000m/ mile race I would like to run in three weeks. My training has been crap recently because of sickness/weather etc. Was running 20-25 mpw. I need some training guidelines in terms of what I should be running each day and weekly mileage to build me up to the indoor meet and eventually outdoor track at the beginning of March. I hope to break 5 for the mile in three weeks but don't know if that's a long shot. No clue on goals for the 3000m indoor or any distance in outdoor track. Thanks in advance.
