1) Crossing the finishline of a race and expresses joy and excitement instead of being out of breath and about to fall over dead.
2) Sudden drop in P.R within a race. Some standards I have picked up on this board:
-5 seconds for a sub-4 miler.
-10 seconds for a sub-4:30 miler.
-20 seconds for a sub-14:00 5K. (15 seconds is a maybe)
3) Sudden drop in P.R within a season. Standards:
-10-15 seconds for a sub-4:10 miler.
-30-60 seconds for a sub-14:30 5k.
-1-2 minutes for a sub-30 10K.
4) Being Ethiopian, Kenyan, Moroccan and breaking world records.
5) Being Caucassian and able to compete with world class East-Africans.
6) Winning an Olympic Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal in the distance events.
7) Running P.Rs within a period of 5-7 days.
Anyone have anything else to add? I don't actually agree with any of the above, just picked them up on the board.
