Hey everyone,
I am a newbie runner but I definitely want to get better. I would like to start training the Lydiard way but I have a few questions on how to start it.
Most of the examples I see are based on distance but some say you should base the training on 9-10 hours a week and not 100 miles (because 9-10 hours a week at an elite level will result in 100 miles, the time is important not the miles).
Should I just try to run every day for one hour at an Easy Pace (based on Jack Daniels' Easy Pace) and a long run in the weekend? This will get me around the 9 hours. Or should I do something else?
I read somewhere else, that my mileage will go up overtime because my Easy Pace will increase. Shouldn't I try to increase it a bit faster ?
In the end, I just want to know how to get to the 100mpw with Lydiard while being not so good at first.
Thanks in advance
