Hi guys im from Canada, Montreal, so my english may not be perfect. First of all some background: i started running one year ago , i was playing soccer before running.My times for the 1500: are 4:27, 800:2:12, 5k:17:15 ,10k :36:15
I am currently at 50miles a week and training alone for now.In my area nobody does any milleage, everytime i go talk to a coatch about mileage and how i want to improve so badly.They always says your running too much... I would said everyone here is at 20-40miles at the most? I know pumping my milleage wil definitly help me but i cant find any coatches that are actually going to make my training plan. Any suggestion? For now im adding 5miles every two weeks and planning to keep at 60-65miles for 3-4 month then maybe going up to like 70-80.For now my trainings looks like this(feel free to comment about the good or bad things im doing)monday: track intervals at 3k pace, tuesday: easy run, wednesday: track intervals faster stuff 1500 and less, thursday: easy run, friday: 5k pace training or 10k pace training ,saturday is the long run and sunday is rest day. I forgot to mention that i do weight 2 time a week and core 4 times a weeks.For now my goal is to actully improove to show my teamates that mileage actully matters. Goals: 16:00 5k, 34:00 10k 4:10 1500, 9:15 3k. Thank you so much guys if anyone can actually help me via hotmail or something it would be nice, and yeah im in highschool
