Interesting podcast debate here about the east africans running in the european cross country. Theres been more of this happening over the last few years as countries like Turkey pay second tier kenyans to switch allegiance and pick up European titles. Some of them seem legit transfers, but a lot of Europeans are pissed that their championships are being crushed by east africans running for european countries, some who don't live or train in those countries. Maybe it's time to go back to enforcing the rules that saw lagat and shaheen sit out championships after swtiching countries, might put some of the less legit ones off.
