Does anyone know if Accelerade is a banned substance? Also, which is better: Accelerade, Endurox, or a combination of both?

Yes.
Accelerade is far from banned, in fact alot of high school coaches integrate it into their training programs now. Accelerade is a recovery drink mainly intended for people doing somewhat human workouts and want to rebuild muscle loss quicker. I wouldnt recommend Endurox for anything less than about 70 MPW, because its loaded with more protein than accelerade. Oh yeah, and the Fruit Punch accelerade is the best flavor.
Make sure your coach picks up the muscles scattered around your campus after they are "lost". It's a pain to rebuild them from scratch.
anybody got any superglue?
Haven't you checked the USADA list lately?
It clearly lists drinks containing whey protein as banned substances.
Don't try it young man.
jason
Jason, are you joking? USADA posts only an advisory concerning proteins and amino acids warning buyers that manufacturers sometimes combine these with banned substances. In other words, ignorance is a crime.
Please give me a link to show this
Everyone knows Whey Protein is illegal. It only naturally occurs in 60% of dairy products.
It's clearly visible on the USADA website, it's listed right by oxygen and water, rounding out the banned substance list.
I began taking Endurox after a Human Physiologist/endurance athlete recomended it to me. He has done extensive research on it and i believe that he would in good confidence not recommend it to me if it were illegal.
On another note, I have taken Endurox after long runs and hard training sessions. Does anyone know if you should take this daily or should you stick with just hard and long sessions.

Thank You. I needed a good laugh...
Remember to eat real food and not just stuff from a can or bottle. A turkey sandwich with skim milk or Gatorade is a pretty good post workout meal.

Scott
Scott,
I take Endurox only after long runs or quality work. I don't like the idea of "wasting" it after regular runs. That could get pretty expensive.

everyone i know that has tried accelerade thinks it is completely disgusting hehe. i am the only one that i know of personally that can even tolerate it- but its still tastes pretty funny.
What about some good ole KoolAide. They even have some new flavors!!! Hell I bought some the other day and when I poured the powder it was green, but when I mixed it with water it turned RED. AWESOME!!!! There has to be some type of benefit from drinking that shit!

It may be best to go right to the source if your inquiry is serious...
drugreference@usantidoping.orgBe careful kids because I believe that USADA just banned all Gatorade flavors that have the words "Extreme", "Blast", "Chill", or "ESPN" in them.
I have been using Endurox for the past year after most workouts. I'm 51 and all workouts are hard to me. I started using it after talking with Bob Kennedy, he said he uses all the time. Good enough for me.
Actually it's not the whey protein, rather the di-hydrogen monoxide that is used as a solvent that creates the problem. So steer clear of the di-hydrogen monoxide.
