Assume he didn't have to worry about football. And assume he had three months to prep. How fast could he go on a flat course at sea level?

He could not.
5 hrs
Being a MArathoner runner and Denver fan, I must say he probably would do it in 5 hours or so, he is to big and even with very solid training would massively fail unless he had around a year or so to prep, and even then, if you look at hines Ward that fool even with a year of ironman training was doing like a 4:30 marathon or slower.

I will rephrase: He could not continuously run a marathon. He may Gallowalk it, but not actually run it.
Actually i stand corrected! After 1 full year of very solid top notch training advice and nutrition, Hines Ward ran a 5:12 marathon. So there you go, peyton in 3 months probably could do a 5:30-5:50 marathon.
He could finish a marathon in under 3 hours.
He's got enough money, he could just pay 10 OT qualifiers about $50K each to carry him on a cot as they jogged a 2:55 or so.
You have to factor in the heat, because he couldn't get it done in a cold race. 4:50.
Peyton would probably read all the coaching manuals and map out his splits in advance
4:00-4:30
Makes more sense for him to pay someone to do it for him.
He's an elite athlete. With 3 months training he could easily go sub 2:30
