I was using a Polar HRM for about a year and always assumed it was giving me bad readings because my HR would always be above 85% on all my runs. I just bought a Garmin Forerunner and went for a 1 hr 45 min run where my heart rate was at 90% for over an hour of the run. Is this possible?
Could my max heart rate just be extremely high for my age? the thing is that the highest I've ever seen my heart rate on a run is about 96%
