You're right, I'm tired today. I wish you could edit post.
Did he look relaxed?

Alan Webb never looks very relaxed. He looked good and strong though. He was out front by himself the whole way and made the hills look easy. Julia said he didn't wear a watch, but ended up being about 10 seconds off the course record.
I know I'm super slow, but the course was tough. There was a long, gradual uphill on one side of the park, a couple of short, steep hills and a roller coaster hill section. Plus the ground was soft and unstable in some parts.
P.S. The race was less than 5 hours ago, not last week.

Wow. Sounds like this is a legitimately good result.

Alan gave a fantastic performance. He blew away the entire field that was already stacked with top local runners. He was in the lead at least from the 2k mark. He always looked relaxed and smooth. An excellent performance by a great runner and great person. I'm a fan.

What txRUNNERgirl said. On the course record:

The course record from 2011 set by Max King was a slightly different course that is estimated as ~100m shorter but also had a haybale obstacle. It was drier that year too.
Only missed Max King's course record by 10 seconds and won by over a minute. He wasn't wearing a watch so he had no idea how fast he was running. Great to see him back.

Wow, I am getting more and more pumped the more I read.
I would imagine he's planning on going back to club nats?
Blew away solid club runners like he should be doing as a pro. Slowish course. Is there still hope??
LetsRun.com note: We changed the title of this thread. It originally was incorrectly titled: Did anybody Notice ALAN WEBB won a race Last week!
