buffs place 5 in top 9
domination
Love the home altitude advantage for the Buffs. They took it out, pushed the pace and owned. Way too go, CU! Cheserek shows he's a legit top five threat.
Given Cheserek's relative lack of improvement toward the end of his high school career one had to have doubts about how he would do in college. But he has eviscerated such doubts. He looks to me to have slimmed down appreciably from last year. Does anyone know whether this is true? "A Duck", can you weigh in here?
How did Mcgorty, Saarel, and Leingang do?

Was Colorado holding back and pack running on purpose?
Hey dummy , home course , championships are won in XC by the most runners on one team finishing near the front ahead of the other teams , like fitness , altitude all played a factor on the buffs dominating the race today.

What does any of that have to do with what I posted?
Nice to see Moussa move into top 10 and scoring 5.
Women's results
Cuffe for the win! Totally called it yesterday, congrats Aisling!
Pac12, not Pac10, genius.
Does anyone know if Jake Hursyz will run this season? I was looking at results and saw that everyone for CU is coming back next season! I wonder if they are redshirting him for that purpose? It doesn't look like CU really needs him right now either. But if they all return next year and bring him back, they could be very very dangerous.

Hey Monty, no opinion. Didn't get to see him live last year, and hard to tell on video clips, since I wasn't looking for that.
Possibly the addition of a altitude tent to sleep in are Oregon has helped. (I'm totally kidding, I assume he has one, but who knows.)
Nice to see his victory, and the victories he has so far as a frosh, he has the desire and a taste for winning.
And before anyone says it, I would prefer that he, like any collegian finish their college eligibility by the end of their 23rd year!
My biggest impression of XC so far this year is seeing how well Mr. Fleet is getting after it. Total props and respect for an NCAA 1500m champ putting his love and guts into XC as hard as he is.
Really impressed with that.
Stinson too.

Give the assshole routine a rest, you piece of shit.
You're an embarrassment of a coach.
Maybe you should take a closer look at the screen name next time

Except for Stinson (and who knows what's up with him), I don't think any of the guys in the top ten has a 5000m PR as good as the 13:57 that Cheserek ran almost two years ago.
So he really doesn't have to get any better to beat these guys. More a commentary on how Pac-12 quality has gone down overall.

Jake Huryz is redshirting this year but yes if he can return next year and be anywhere near what he ran last year then CU is going to be out right scary. CU is only losing 1 guy and that is their 7th guy .. Dillon Shije ,..everyone else will be back
