Thank You, Lima, for making the race great to watch and not allowing the protester to take away your joy!!!

hats off to the Brazilian, he celebrated his bronze as though he had won Gold.
Deep courage, certainly got my best feelings towards him.
Can we say he didn't run chicken shit?
AT LEAST HE IS REAL BRAZILIAN, AND AN ERITREAN RUNNING FOR BRAZIL ...YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!
Yep, he certainly deserved his medal!
I can't help but feel that Baldini was robbed though... I mean him and Meb were always going to catch the brazilian, but with the ongoing controversy, there will be speculations as to whether Baldini's was a deserved victory...
'Glad Lima managed to regain his composure though, and held on to bronze, eventhough I was rooting for Jon Brown.

If he did not medal, then I think there would be even more to be said about the whole incident. Speculation etc
Are you sure that was Vanderlei de Lima? Judging by that airplane move at the end, I think it was actually Michael Stember. What a way to get the final word in on A Webb, sneak into the Olympic marathon and take the bronze! Maybe that was even Webb who tried to tackle him? (ok, def. wearing a wig).
What a strange world we lve in.
no doubt the incident will have it's place in the Olympic history books alongside the Dorando Pietri episode... What were the policemen on the bikes looking at??!!!
I don't think it's positive that Baldini and Meb would have beaten Lima. The attack really made Lima lose composure for some time and it's imposible to know how much would have been left in him if/when Baldini pulled even. Lima looked like he was losing more ground than he was because Baldini has a much more smooth running style- the way that Lima swings his arms makes him look like he's working harder than everyone else. The biggest tragedy would have been if Lima had not medaled. As it was, he was happy and excited to finish where he did.
STEMBER AND WEBB DOES NOT HAVE BALLS TO GET BRONZE MEDAL IN ANY EVENT. PLEASE DON'T COMPARE THOSE WEAK BITCHES AMERICANS TO A REAL LONG DISTANCE RUNNER!!

His legs Roger, his legs
I guess we'll never know... the great shame is that the protester not only ruined de Lima's race (again, arguably he was slowing, but we can't know), but his attack overshadowed Baldini's victory (and what a magnificiently timed effort that was!).
I hope they sue the guy for all he's worth!
