i am a 16 year old 165lb teen boy who is joining track for the first time ever this year. i have decided that i want to sprint because i want to get faster and also i want to transform my body. i got a 15.14 and i am hoping to get that down to a 12s 100m before preseason track starts.my offseason workout to get faster is 10x100m sprints 4 days a week.i don't have any weights currently but i will start lifting weights at school when preseason starts. right now i am tall and lanky. i have skinny arms, not that much chest muscle and some belly fat.
my question is will joining the track team at my high school get me that ripped and muscular look that sprinters have.the sprinters and hurdlers at my school are muscular and ripped.i eat healthy since nutrition is a key role in getting in shape. i am hoping to get ripped after track season this year.
preseason starts in winter and regular season starts in spring. so i have around 6 months to get in shape
