I am having a problem and cannot afford to see a physical therapist so I was hoping someone could offer so advice. I overpronated while landing on my left leg for years which was a constant cause of injury. Then I realized I was overpronating because I have weak gluteus muscles and especially my glute medius. So I spent the last 6 month strengthening these muscles. The problem is that the leg still over pronates despite me having strong abductors. I think the tendons on the inside of my ankle became stretched out and are elongated after all these years of overpronating with that foot. When I dorsiflex that ankle the ankle points out externally slightly. Is there any way to can tighten those elongated tendons on the inside of the ankle? I really do think it is the ankle why I am overpronating still. Any advice or help from anyone would be much appreciated.
