The 10K can be very tricky...laps to count, runners who are lapping the field, etc.

She should have looked around at least 203 times after the pack had separated to see who was in the pack, and who wasn't.

I've run plenty of 10s on the track (as has Ryan), but I always knew who was around me.

The Ethiopian was far from jogging in. They were both sprinting side by side until the Chinese lady pulled ahead 40m before the finish.
