Cigarettes would be a dollar in America too, if it weren't for the runaway cigarette taxes of $4 a pack or more.

Smokers are not enough of a minority in Russia for that to happen there. Russians don't live long enough to be bothered by warnings about old-age diseases like lung cancer, or to generate huge health-care expenses from those diseases for politicians to blame on smoking. Capitalism has naught to do with it.

I don't smoke anymore but I still have a few lighters. It is important for a man to have the power of fire.

that's a myth. they used pens too. you can't have graphite bits floating around equipment

They got in trouble for the marketing and have backed off it a the Olympic people are very protective of everything.
