no. with 45.5 open 400m speed he is definitely a sub-11 and sub-22 guy, but 10.5 and 20.xx are too fast.

I bet he could run 100 miles in less than 10.5 hours. All that he would have to do is run slower than his COOLDOWN pace.

Of course, Ashton/decathletes are basically sprinters who train for the field events. As an 800 guy Rudisha needs more endurance and therefore has less speed (over 100), but he is still very fast obviously.

I think the better question is how fast can he run the 1000m? Maybe Ventolin would have an estimate on that prompt?

I don't know; I read on another thread that Wilson Kipsang can run a 3:47 mile, so I'd imagine Rudisha was probably good for 9.8x low and maybe 19.7x.
