"National Championship" according to whom? Pretty sure we would have known if this was some sort of championship race. They do tend to publicize those things, ya know? Sheesh...

Nick is like 30 years old, still running about the same times he did 5 years ago and is just your average pro who still dreams.
Get a job nick and make your wife happy. -

He just won $25,000. Probably made his wife quite happy. -

lest we forget how fast FAST is nowadays. -
the 100 mile ultra thread has six times the number of posts the Marathon Champs thread has.
I must be on Letsultra.com -
Anyone have any idea why Arciniaga got so much better after college? Was he always this good and just suffered injuries during college? Did his training just get that much better? He doesn't hold any records at CS Fullerton & his XC PR is only like 24:50 something. Not trying to diss, unless he was banged up 24/7 in school, this guy deserves MAJOR props.

I dont think Kipsang would be very far ahead of anyone in this race. Different course, different conditions, and most importantly, it wasn't paced.
Kipsang was only 4 seconds ahead of unheralded Daniele Meucci in the NYC Half this past March, so he isn't that fast when unpaced. -

Want to know this too. -
He left the Hansons and went to high altitude in Flagstaff. It seems that the majority of athletes who leave the Hansons and keep it up get much, much better.
