Welp, glad he made one US team while he could. Can't wait to see him run four races next year.
I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone that I called this over a month ago

Congrats, there were exactly two possibilities and you called the correct 50%. You should have played the lottery!
It would be great to see the team haealthy a faith a great base.
Jäger, Derrick, Fernandez and Hill could all be special. I would life to see the. Achieve like solinsksy.

Don't forget about Bayer!
Staying healthy and competing regularly seems to be easier said than done for this training group though. Has Heath had any good performances since his 5th ave mile? I was really impressed by his 3:54

5th Avenue was Sunday.

What do you mean "since his 5th Avenue Mile"??? His 5th Avenue Mile was last Sunday...
There was his win at the Great North Games mile, that was a lot better, but since 5th Avenue?
Wrong Heath.
Ryan has been treated like a professional athlete for last 2 years. Racing very sporadically and only at the big time trialed meets. The more interesting guy to watch will be Bayer. He raced almost weekly with off events, rabbiting, etc.
I do not want Jerry to look at these young studs and spend the next 3 years beating their speed out of them with 10 months of pounding straight.
The message board counts out Bumbalough too much. He just crushed Aaron Braun and Teg in the CVS 5k. He ran 7:40 and 13:12 this season. I could see him making another big jump next year to low 13:00's.
Hill and Bayer are both clutch runners. Hill, Bayer, Fernandez, Elliott Heath, Derrick, Jager, and Bumbalough are the future of that group. They are all talented enough to break 13. They just need to stay healthy.

That was Garret Heath who runs for Saucony, and is Elliot Heath's older brother
Elliot Heath ran 3:54 for 8th place at the 2012 5th Ave Mile last year, but had a sub par 2013 season.
Consider how much people improve after leaving NC State; I'm thinking of, for instance, Bobby Mack, Julia Lucas, and the former Joan Benoit.
Thanks! I may try my luck! ;)

Thanks, the younger Heath was even the faster of the two in the 2012 edition. Fingers crossed for exciting stuff next season from the young guys of the group
