With Pat Schellberg who I think could be top 20 at the NCAA meet leading the way this team is ready to finally take down the wolfpack.

Add in Jack Driggs and Ryan Walling and lets not forget Joe Sansone who was high school team mates with Trevor Gilley. This team on paper is by far the best in the ACC.

That said here are the top 4 teams in the ACC

UNC

Syracuse

NC State

FSU

I heard Schellberg is out for the season after getting mono from Jack Driggs. Jack got it from Thomas Graham in Colorado while they were training.

It's all about VT in the ACC. The rest will be trying for an upset. The Hokies are super loaded this year.

That being said, this is the weakest conference I've ever seen so who knows. The ACC doesn't even deserve to call their meet a championship. I would say the addition of Syracuse helps, but they're just plain bad this year.

Syracuse won 3 of the last 4 Big East titles in XC.

They are likely to run a similar record in the ACC

as long as Fox is at the helm.

Either way, hats off to Coach Van Alstyne who showed up so close to the start of the season last year that he really didn't have time to have a true recruiting class.

Yeah, hats off. He only had 5 Footlocker Finialist, a 3:46 sophomore, a 30:30 sophomore, a 3:40 1500m junior, Oh and Chris Derrick's brother.

So, though I know it is tough taking over a team with 9 big time talents on it, I feel like he can manage.

VT won't be top 6, lost their top 2 + hammond. Got lucky last year, won't be a factor w/the new heat in the league.

Yeah, they lost the talented Burleigh to a d2 school. Huge loss for the Hokies.

State will clean house once again. It has been 26 years since NC State has lost back to back ACC titles, don't expect to see that streak end here.
